AISLE OF MAN
During the refurbishment of the local church a rather short-sighted woman volunteer was put in charge of a mechanical device to help pull a wall down.
Unfortunately she miscalculated and dragged away half the seats as well as the flooring in between them.
"That's the trouble with my wife," explained her embarrassed husband.
"Giver her a winch and she'll take an aisle."
