INDELICATE ESSEN
I accompanied my boss to Germany on business the other day. It was a good trip but the food was awful.
Our first meal with clients, they served up a starter called matjes. I don't speak German, but the boss said it was a kind of pickled herring. Ugh!
I whispered to the boss that I really couldn't eat it, but all he said was, "Wait till you see the main course. The wurst is yet to come."
