SPIRITED RECOVERY
Jane Fonda is sightseeing in Paris when she has a suspected heart attack.
Her quick-thinking companion drags her into a nearby bar.
“Quick, give her an Absinthe, Monsieur!” she orders the barman.
Jane opens her eyes. “Why are you ordering me a drink?” she asks haltingly.
Her friend replies: “Because absinthe makes the heart go, Fonda.”
