So Sepp Blatter beat Prince Ali bin al-Hussein of Jordan by 133 votes to 73 in the FIFA presidential election, when the Prince withdrew without contesting the second round vote.
Seems he knew it was a lost cause. Officials had been going round the delegations saying that if the Prince was elected, they'd get no Ali money.
