LETTERS ON CREDIT
The signwriter in New York was disgusted. It was Friday and he'd worked nearly three days proudly and lovingly on the beautiful gold lettered "We'll Double Your Money In 48 Hours! - Save With The World Famous Adam Brothers Inc." sign over the door.
He'd taken the job and they'd said, "Come and get your money at the end of the week."
When he turned up to collect, he found the shop empty, no sign of the brothers, so he called the Fraud Squad.
The Chief Investigator said, "Huh! The Adam brothers... Sorry buddy, but if I know these guys, they were gone before the "Inc." dried."
