IF THE CAP FITS...
Two tramps were approaching a village from opposite ends, both dressed in rags they had found on their travels, including some really scruffy, moth-eaten headwear.
As they neared each other in the High Street, one said: "That's the worst looking trilby I've ever seen!"
To which the other replied: "I've seen better bowlers on the village green here giving away 30 runs an over!"
Incensed, the first tramp walked up and punched the second in the nose, causing a brawl that required the local Constabulary to separate them.
The next day the local paper carried the headline: "Titfer tat battle in High Street".
